Railway City Transit

On Friday September 23rd between 12-3pm enjoy a pop up concert while riding between the HUB (Smart Centre) and Elgin Centre as part of a "buskers on the bus" event brought to you in partnership with the Summer Harvest Festival and then again on Saturday September 24th on the complimentary shuttle bus (donated by Voyago & Localmotion Railway City Transit) between Memorial Avenue and Pinafore Park where the event is taking place.  

More Fun and Less Fuss when you take the bus!!

The City of St. Thomas provides a Conventional Transit System as well as a Parallel Transit System.

Thank you for your feedback! A 6 month review of the new Railway City Transit Service was completed in October 2021 and has resulted in exciting improvements to LocalMotion:

  • NEW An additional bus operating during Peak periods through weekdays (starting September 1, 2022)
  • NEW Stop added at 200 Chestnut Street
  • Four (4) NEW stops added on Talbot Street
  • Adjusted Swiss Chalet Stop (#127,#224,#312,#425)
  • NEW OnDemand Stop (#637) added along Burwell Road
  • Expanded Morning Shift for OnDemand & Parallel users starting one hour earlier at 6:15am (starting January 2, 2022)
