What you'll do as a provider

  • build positive, trustworthy relationships with children and families
  • provide healthy meals and snacks daily, following Canada's Food Guide
  • follow Ministry of Education and Elgin Home Child Care policies
  • follow Ontario's pedagogy for early years, How Does Learning Happen?
  • complete a criminal reference check and a Children's Aid Society background check
  • take part in professional learning opportunities
