St. Thomas Professional Firefighter’s Association

The St. Thomas Professional Firefighters Association represents 55 members working in suppression, prevention, training and communications. The association is dedicated to serving the community with excellent service and civic pride.

Community fundraising

The association raises funds for MD (muscular dystrophy) and other local charities throughout the year. Our activities include:

• boot tolls
• collecting food for the food bank during the Christmas parade
• an annual dance, with proceeds supporting various causes
• the Fire Muster, held every Labour Day weekend at Pinafore Park. The Muster draws approximately 40,000 to 50,000 visitors over the weekend, and is our biggest community event of the year
