Child Care
The City of St. Thomas and the County of Elgin serve as the area's Consolidated Municipal Service Manager (CMSM), responsible for planning, funding and administering licensed child care and early years services. CMSMs play a central role in planning, funding and operating early years and licensed child care services in Ontario.
Our Children's Services team can help you with:
- information on licensed child care, before and after school programs, and early years programs in your community
- financial assistance for licensed child care, recreational and skill-building programs, and extended day programs
- support for children with special needs in licensed child care, recreational programs and extended day programs
- planning and contracting Child Care and EarlyON services for St. Thomas and Elgin County
