Rooms and Rates
Valleyview offers 3 types of accommodation: private, semi-private and basic.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care sets these rates, which are the same at every long-term care home in Ontario.
Current rates (effective July 1, 2026)
Private accommodation
Daily rate $100.01
Monthly rate $3,041.97
Semi-private accommodation
Daily rate $84.40
Monthly rate $2,567.17
Basic accommodation
Daily rate $70
Monthly rate $2,129.17
These rates are set by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and are updated on July 1st every year. If you have a limited income, you can apply for a rate reduction on basic accommodation.
Rate reductions are not available for private or semi-private accommodation.
What we provide
Each room includes a bed, bedside table, comfortable chair, wardrobe and all linens. We encourage you to personalize your room with pictures or familiar items.
