Tax Certificates

A tax certificate can be requested by completing a Tax Certificate Request Form and sending it to the Treasury Department. 

You can submit the form:

• by email to propertytax@stthomas.ca
• by mail
• in person at City Hall
• by fax (519-633-9019)

The following information must be included in the request:

• Owner(s) name
• Legal description
• Municipal address
• Roll number

Effective January 1, 2026, the fee for a tax certificate is $65, with a rush fee of $80.

Payments can be made by cheque or credit card over the phone.
