City of St. Thomas

A tax certificate can be requested by completing a request form and emailing to [email protected] 

The following information must be included in the request:

• Owner(s) name
• Legal description
• Municipal address
• Roll number

Effective January 1, 2026, the fee for a tax certificate is $65, with a rush fee of $80.

Requests can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to the City of St. Thomas. Payment can be made by cheque or over the phone with a credit card. See the Tax Certificate Request Form for more details.
