City of St. Thomas Aquatics

The City of St Thomas has one outdoor swimming pool and multiple splash pads. We offer a wide variety of programming including public swimming, aquafit, Life Saving Society swim lessons, lane swims, bronze cross courses, and more!

Jaycees Pool is an outdoor public pool facility with an accessible lift offering a wide variety of programming including public swimming, aquafit, Life Saving Society swim lessons, lane swims, bronze cross courses, and more. We also offer pool rentals throughout the summer.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday: 9AM - 8PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30 - 4PM

*Hours are subject to change based on weather
**Pool available for rentals outside of regular weekend hours
2025 Aquatic Season & Schedule
Jaycees Pool will be open from June 29 until August 23, 2025 for the season. The pool remains open during all summer holidays including Canada Day and Civic Holiday.

  • $4.00 for 15 years and younger
  • $5.00 for 16 years and older, aqua fit, and adult lane swim
  • $15.00 for family (max of 5, 1 must be an adult)
  • $35.00 for a 10 card swim pass

Aquatics Indoor Programs

The City of St. Thomas is pleased to announce a new pilot partnership with the YMCA that will offer St. Thomas residents access to indoor aquatics programming consisting of aquafit, swimming lessons, and public swims at the YMCA St. Thomas branch.

All registration will be at the YMCA-St. Thomas-Elgin location. There is no online or over the phone registration.

Aquatics passes will be available for purchase only at the Family YMCA of St. Thomas-Elgin (20 High St, St Thomas, ON N5R 5V2).

Aquatic passes will be offered at city rates with proof of St. Thomas residency required at the time of purchase.

This program is being piloted throughout 2025, except when Jaycee’s Pool is open in the summer months (July & August). View the full media release for this partnership here.

Splash Paf

Splashpads

The unsupervised water play areas offers an active, fun time for kids with an accessible, fully-equipped playground experience right next door. Come check out the neat features including dumping buckets, spray nozzles, and sprinkle arc on a random spray sequence, adding to the refreshing watery fun.

  • 1Password Park on Burwell Road across from Valleyview Nursing Home
