The City of St. Thomas is undertaking a Parks & Recreation Master Plan Update and a Community & Aquatic Centre Feasibility Study to address population growth and changing community needs since 2020.
The Draft Master Plan and Feasibility Study are now available for public review. These documents will help guide future decisions related to parks, recreation facilities, and services across the community.
Residents are invited to learn more and provide feedback by:

Attending a drop-in Open House at the Joe Thornton Community Centre on January 22, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. or 6:00–8:00 p.m.
(No formal presentation — drop in anytime to review the materials and speak with staff and the consulting team.)

Submitting written comments to [email protected] by February 13, 2026.
Following public review, the final plans will be presented to City Council for approval on March 9, 2026.
