Existing Conditions

The scope of the Talbot Street Project includes, infrastructure rehabilitation, and safety enhancements to the corridor. The project also includes improvements to the watermain, storm drainage, and sanitary sewers. The proposed design uses a Complete Streets approach to improve and enhance accessibility for all road users including transit, vehicles, and pedestrians of all ages and abilities, wherever possible. To minimize disruption to businesses and residents, the work will be phased to allow Talbot Street to remain open to traffic during construction.
