Alma Street Construction

The Alma Street Reconstruct project has been prioritized to address replacement of watermain, replacement of sanitary sewer, new storm sewers, wider sidewalks, curb and gutter and new asphalt driving surface.  The proposed design follows the City's Complete Streets Guidelines to make the street accessible for roadway users of all ages and abilities.

Schedule
  • Tentative Start Date - Week of March 23, 2026
  • Phase 1 - Alma Street from Talbot St to CN rail Tracks – Week of March 23rd to July
  • Phase 2 – Alma Street from CN Rail Track to Highway 3 – July to October
  • Anticipated Project Completion - October 2026
