Snow removal from Talbot St. and the downtown core has been arranged to start tonight.  Crews will be working to remove the snow from the road edge, sidewalks and parking spaces as the banks are reaching excessive size and beginning to cause obstructions.  This process will proceed for the duration of the week and longer if necessary.  This operation may be altered if more snow accumulates and maintenance operations are necessary.  We will also be hauling out parking lots, cul de sacs and other snow storage areas throughout the daytime hours.

Kindly remember,  our staff have been working long hours for weeks now and will remain persistent to accommodate all service areas.  Your patience and cooperation is appreciated throughout these operations.
