Community Safety and Well-Being Plan
The Aylmer–Elgin–St. Thomas Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Plan is a collaborative plan developed by the City of St. Thomas, Town of Aylmer, and County of Elgin, together with local municipalities, community organizations, and other partners.
The plan takes a proactive, collaborative approach to building safer, healthier, and more connected communities across the region. It recognizes that community safety and well-being are influenced by a range of factors and that complex issues are best addressed by working together across sectors.
The plan focuses on five priority areas:
- Education and Skills Development
- Housing Security
- Mental Health and Well-Being
- Public Safety
- Substance Use and Addiction
The plan is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changing community needs, local data and progress made by community partners.
The original CSWB Plan can be accessed here.
June 2025 updates to the CSWB Plan are available here.
