Tennis and Pickleball

Outdoor tennis and pickleball courts are open for the season at two locations in St. Thomas:

Courts are free for public use. They are open through late spring, summer and fall, and closed in winter to protect the playing surface.

Court rules

Courts are for public use only. These activities are not allowed without City authorization:

  • commercial or private tennis or pickleball instruction
  • operating a business or offering paid services on the courts
  • claiming or reserving courts without authorization

You can only reserve a court through the City of St. Thomas. We may ask anyone conducting unauthorized commercial activity to stop and leave the facility, under Parks and Recreation Area By-law 96-2019, Section 4.1(6).
