The City of St Thomas has one outdoor swimming pool and multiple splash pads. We offer a wide variety of programming including public swimming, aquafit, Life Saving Society swim lessons, lane swims, bronze cross courses, and more! We also offer pool rentals throughout the summer.
Our aquatic facilities opens July 1st.
Jaycee Pool – Outdoor Pool
Jaycees Pool is an outdoor public pool facility with an accessible lift offering a wide variety of programming including public swimming, aquafit, Life Saving Society swim lessons, lane swims, bronze cross courses, and more! We also offer pool rentals throughout the summer. The pool is located at 93 Inkerman Street, St. Thomas, ON, N5P 3G5
2023 Aquatics Schedule
Programs:
The City of St Thomas proudly offers Life Saving Society Swim Lessons. We currently offer the following:
- Parent & Tot
- Preschool (1-5)
- Swimmer 1-6
- Swimmer 7-9 (Rookie, Ranger, Star Patrol)
- Adult Swimmer Classes (16+)
- Semi Private and Private Lessons
- Bronze Star, Cross and Bronze Medallion
In addition, there are daily lane swims, aquafit classes, and public swims outside of lesson times. Refer to our 2023 aquatics schedule for more information.
All public swims on Canada Day are free!
The pool is open July 1 and will remain open until August 27th.
Registration:
- For program registration and program availability click on the following link online or visit the Joe Thornton Community Centre Parks and Recreation Office, 75 Caso Crossing
- Registration for Session #1 will open April 21st at 10:00am. Session #2-4 registration will open April 24th-28th, 2023.

Splashpads
The City of St Thomas has three splash pads:

- Waterworks Splashpad: Waterworks Park, 2 South Edgeware Road
- 1Password Park on Burwell Road across from Valleyview Nursing Home
Splash pads open June 1st weather depending.
Splashpads are open daily 10am to 8pm from June until September (weather permitting). The unsupervised water play areas offers an active, fun time for kids with an accessible, fully-equipped playground experience right next door. Come check out the neat features including dumping buckets, spray nozzles, and sprinkle arc on a random spray sequence, adding to the refreshing watery fun.
