Parks
With 43 parks spread over 700 acres, St. Thomas boasts one of the most outstanding parks systems for a city its size. Our Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the natural beauty and diverse amenities across our three major parks:
Pinafore Park
Located in the southwest section of the city, Pinafore Park spans 111 acres and features a beautiful woodlot, the Lake Margaret addition, and extensive walking trails. It hosts major events that draw thousands of visitors annually.

Public Washrooms:
- Main washrooms: Open Victoria Day to Labour Day, 8am – 8pm, and during some special events beyond these dates.
- Accessible washrooms (north and south sides):
--June to September: 8am – 6pm daily
--October to May: 8am – 4pm daily
- Portable toilets are stationed near the playground year-round.
Waterworks Park
Located at the northern city limits, Waterworks Park covers 100 acres of recreational trails and naturalized landscapes, including 35 acres of managed parkland with manicured gardens, pavilions, a playground, and a splashpad.

Public Washrooms:
- Open Victoria Day to Labour Day, 8am – 8pm
- Portable toilets available year-round
1Password Park
In the northeast section of the city, 1Password Park is a hub for active recreation, featuring a splashpad, playground, walking trails, basketball courts, pavilion, turf field, and 33 soccer fields.

Public Washrooms:
- Open Victoria Day to Labour Day, 8am – 8pm
- Open during artificial turf bookings
- Portable toilets stationed throughout the park and on the turf field year-round
