Are you on the Voters' List?
If you are not on the voter's List or require your information to be corrected, please fill out the application to Amend the Voter's List, sign, and return it to the City Clerk's Department in person Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that digital signatures will not be accepted.

You may also submit you application to amend the voters' list at a Mobile Voter Help Centre.

Once you have submitted your application to amend the voters' list, you will be provided with a Voter Information Letter containing your unique PIN.  You will need this letter in order to vote. 

Voting Period - Remote Internet and Telephone Voting from October 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to October 24, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.

Internet voting allows electors to vote from any location with an available internet connection on computers, tablets, and cell phones. Telephone voting allows electors to call from any touch-tone dial pad, toll-free, if calling within Canada and the United States.

For those electors who do not have access to a telephone or the internet and who need assistance, there will be Mobile Voter Help Centres set up at the following locations and times:

October 15th and 22nd, 2022 - Elgin Centre, 417 Wellington Street
12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

October 18th, 2022 - St. Thomas Seniors' Centre, 225 Chestnut Street
12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

October 20th, 2022 - Locke's Public School, 20 South Edgeware Road
4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

October 24th, 2022 - St. Thomas Public Library, 153 Curtis Street
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

During the voting period, electors may vote for the following:

City Council

Mayor (up to 1)
Councillor (up to 8)

School Board Trustees

English Public (up to 2)

English Separate - acclaimed
French Public - acclaimed
French Separate - acclaimed

Nomination Period - has ended and the Clerk has certified all nominations

Certified Candidates List

Third Party Advertisers - Individuals, corporations, trade unions may file a Notice of Registration as a Third Party Advertiser from May 2nd to October 21, 2022. Third party advertisement means an advertisement in any broadcast, print, electronic or other medium that has the purpose of promoting, supporting or opposing a candidate.
