Inkerman Street and Weldon Avenue Construction

Inkerman Street and Weldon Avenue

The City plans to reconstruct Inkerman Street from Talbot Street to the North Limit and Weldon Avenue from Inkerman Street to Woodworth Avenue.  This work is being undertaken as part of the continuing effort to renew aging infrastructure, using the Complete Streets approach.

The new streetscape will feature standard lane widths, parking on one side of the street, grass boulevard, and improved accessibility through wider sidewalks and ramps.

During construction the road will be closed to through traffic, but will remain open to local traffic.

Please visit this webpage frequently as updates will be posted regularly during construction.

This Project is funded in part by the Federal Gas Tax.
