Railway City Tourism Local Motion

New Enhancements Coming to Railway City Transit include:

  • Extended Monday to Friday hours from 5:45pm to 9:45pm.
  • Extended Saturday hours from 5:45pm to 9:45pm.
  • New Sunday service from 9:15am to 5:45pm.
  • Expanded coverage of the Industrial Area using the RCT OnDemand App
  • More frequent east/west service from the west end of Talbot, stopping at the Smart Centres hub, and ending at the Elgin Centre.
  • Individual Time Tables are now available for each route

    The City of St. Thomas provides a Conventional Transit System as well as a Parallel Transit System.

    Due to the Covid19 pandemic the following measures are in effect to ride on our Transit System:

    • Masks (Face Coverings) are Mandatory to ride St. Thomas Transit.  See the Southwestern Public Health website for more information on face coverings.
    • Please only sit in available seating. 
    • If all available seating is full please wait for the next available buses Additional busses have been added to the Talbot Route.
    • Exact Change is required.
    • Bus Passes and Tickets can be bought at the temporary Transit Depot located at Railway City Tourism, 605 Talbot Street
    • Tickets can also be purchased at the following locations
      • Fenlon Family Mart (114 Confederation Dr.)
      • Plaza Convenience (321 Elm St.)
      • Water Works Variety (7 South Edgeware Rd.)
      • Wellington Convenience & Video (69 Elgin St.)
